Some meetings don’t need reinvention, they just need reinstatement.
Before the pandemic, CMR London became one of the most successful and well- attended cardiac imaging forums in the capital. It worked. It built community. It created meaningful discussion. So rather than change a winning formula, we are bringing it back exactly where it belongs.
CMR London returns to its original home:
West Wing Meeting Room
W Smithfield
London EC1A 7BE
This is where it thrived pre-COVID.
So why change it?
We will meet quarterly, same venue, consistent format, dependable schedule, creating a reliable touchpoint for the London CMR community.
The relaunch is being led in collaboration with:
Together, we are building on the strong foundations of the original CMR London while shaping it for the future of cardiovascular imaging.
Each quarter, we will bring:
This is not a passive lecture evening. It is a working forum for clinicians who live and breathe CMR.
CMR London has always been about more than presentations. It has always been about people and the conversations that shape practice across centres.
At this relaunch, we will also unveil a new initiative for the London CMR community, led by professor James Moon and professor Mark Westwood.
We’re deliberately keeping the format under wraps for now.
But it has been designed to strengthen collaboration, raise standards, and connect clinicians across London in a more immediate and dynamic way.
If you care about the future direction of CMR in London, you’ll want to be in the room when it’s announced.
Some things are better revealed live.
We are grateful to AOP Health for their support of CMR London.
AOP Health will be present with an exhibition stand and will sponsor part of the subsistence and refreshments, helping to create the informal networking environment that has always been central to the success of this meeting.
Following the session, attendees are invited for informal post-CMR networking at The Balfour, continuing the tradition that made CMR London such a success before.
CMR London is back.
Same venue. Same rhythm. Stronger network.
If you were part of it before, you know the impact.
If you’re new to the London CMR community, this is your opportunity to be part of something consistent, collaborative, and clinician-led.
Looking forward to seeing you on Tuesday 10th March 2026 from 6pm onwards.
